Dress sharp and bring the whole family out to an unforgettable night at the San Antonio Zoo! This October, the zoo will host the Kids Zoo Ball, a family-focused spin-off of their annual Zoobilation ball.
When and Where
This year’s ball, “Once Upon A Tail,” will be held at the San Antonio Zoo on Friday, October 4. It will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Black tie attire is optional. The San Antonio Zoo is located at 3903 N. St. Mary’s Street, San Antonio, Texas 78212.
Once Upon a Tail
The Kids Zoo Ball takes notes from the long-running Zoobilation benefit held each year at the zoo. Guests of all ages are welcome to participate in the festive fundraiser, and they can expect carousel rides, photos, and live entertainment throughout the evening. The adults in attendance may appreciate the selection of fine libations in the “Time Out Tent”, and everyone will enjoy an excellent dinner by the dance floor. You may also see the zoo’s animal ambassadors representing the incredible variety of creatures in residence.
Admission
General tickets are $100 for adults and $75. These tickets cover entry, entertainment, a seated dinner, and party favor bags for the kids. A $1,000 ticket provides entry and a table for 10, and a $2,500 option includes that along with a private giraffe feeding experience for eight guests. A $5,000 option includes the entry and table for 10, the giraffe encounter, ideal table location near the dance floor, and a behind the scenes hippo tour for four guests. San Antonio Zoo
The zoo is home to about 750 species from all around the world, from colorful birds to exotic reptiles and sea life. The zoo’s team is also heavily involved in conservation efforts, including protecting endangered species, habitat restoration, and more. As a nonprofit organization, they count on donations and fundraising like the ball to continue their endeavors and help wildlife wherever they can.
