Music fans, mark your calendars! Acclaimed singer/songwriter Carrie Underwood is coming to the AT&T Center on May 6. She will visit San Antonio as part of her latest tour, and the musician will be joined by Maddie & Tae.

The Cry Pretty Tour
Last summer, the award-winning artist went on Twitter to announce her 2019 tour, hitting 55 arenas across North America. The tour will showcase music from her newest studio album, Cry Pretty, which dropped last September. Underwood has come so very far since winning the American Idol contest years ago, and the musician now has seven Grammy awards with her name on them. This album marks her first endeavor with the lauded Capitol Records.
You may have already heard the album’s first hit, “Cry Pretty,” on the radio. When it released, it quickly became the number-one song in the U.S. Underwood co-wrote this smash hit with Hillary Lindsey, Liz Rose, and Lori McKenna of The Love Junkies.
The 2019 tour will feature an all-new stage configuration in the middle of each arena. The crowd will be treated to a 360-degree view of all the excitement on stage, and Underwood will be encircled by the listeners that have supported her climb to stardom.
A Good Cause
Underwood’s warm heart is a big part of what makes her such a passionate songwriter, and she has made sure that that a portion of profits from every ticket sold will go to support Danita’s Children, a refuge for abandoned and at-risk children in Haiti that also reinforces family ties through education and nourishment.
